Our Students...
...move, create, and learn while playing. A typical day includes gross motor activity like our playground, yoga or building with our Imagination Playground. Children then eat a healthy snack and have a small group lesson and the bulk of the day is free play as they rotate through our three differently purposed classrooms (Large Room pretend play and themes, Quiet Room activities and Art).
Our program for three-year-olds is Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9 a.m. - noon and the program for four-year-olds is Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9 a.m. - noon. Registration inquiries for new students are accepted beginning in mid-October for the following September. A rolling interest list is developed based on pre-registration information, the child coming on a visit to the program and registration forms and requirements. After current families and siblings are enrolled in the following school year sometime in January, new admission decisions begin for students on the interest list who have completed tours. Children must be three years old by December 1st of the school year they are registering for, and they must be fully toilet trained. Children with special needs are registered and admitted through Jowonio School.
